Datasets: Deals and Promotion Datasets


This dataset contains details about Customers of FestMan Store. There are 5 tables covering customers and their transactions.

  • Customer Profiles: Details about the customers
  • Website visits: Number of Customer visits to company's web site in the last month and the device used
  • Customer Purchases: Details of customers purchase
  • Customer spend: Amount spent by customers on various products
  • Deal responses: Details of customers acceptance of deals and promotions



The Task


You are part of FestMan Analytics team and your Team has been tasked to help the Marketing Team understand the Customer Spending Patterns and Response to Campaign Deals and recommend appropriate marketing strategies that will help the Company maximize their sales.

The Marketing Team wants your Team to develop an interactive dashboard highlighting your key insights and recommendations using any visualization tool of your choice (such as Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Power BI, Tableau)


Submission

Deadline 26th May,2021

Your Team is required to develop a one pager dashboard highlighting the key insights from your analysis and share on LinkedIn.

One member of the Team can share and mention@ all the Team members in the post.

When sharing your dashboard on LinkedIn, mention @FestMan™ Learning Hub and include the hashtag #festmandatahack. This will help our Team take notice of your work and consider it.


You are also required to prepare a slide deck with not more than 8 slides which you will present to our Judges when your Team qualifies to the final.


Selection


When you share your Dashboard and Insights on LinkedIn, our Team will review your Dashboard. We will then come up with the list of the Top 6 Teams who will present and compete on Saturday 29th May.


We will announce the finalists on our LinkedIn Page @FestMan Learning Hub on Thursday 27th May


Judgement Criteria


Generate insights from analytics

  • Has the team generated actionable and valuable insights from analytics?
  • Is the analytics methodology valid and appropriate?
  • Does the team understand the limitation of the datasets?

 

Effective communication

  • Have the team effectively visualized their insights?
  • Do analytically-driven insights justify and support the recommendations made?
  • Is there a logical storyline?
  • Can the team effectively pitch their recommendation?
